Daily Attendance Matters

Attendance is a huge factor for student success.  Students who miss more than 18 days of school are less proficient in reading, writing and math compared to their peers with good attendance.  Students who attend school regularly are more likely to:

• Earn grades of A or B
• Achieve proficiency in core subjects like math and reading
• Graduate from high school
• Learn more
• Have fewer discipline problems
• Develop better study habits
